War
While open fighting amongst guilds is discouraged, that is not to say it does not occur. To attack and defend,
a guild must hire soldiers to enforce their will and protect their assets. The attack action can take
several forms:
- Robbery: If the defender's defenses are overcome, the attacker steals a percentage of their
treasury based on the difference in attack and defense.
- Pillage: If the defenses are breached, the attacker will cause damage to buildings, possibly
destroying them.
- Slaughter: If the defender is overcome, the attacker kills non-military units controlled
by the guild, based on the ease of attack.
To attack, you'll assign as many units as you wish from your supply and choose a target. The units' total
attack power is added, then compared to the defender's total defense. Based on the degree of success, a percentage
of the loser's units will be lost. While any number of attacks can be launched each day, units that have already
attacked cannot participate in attacks or defend the guild hall.
